Toyota Channels Motocross with New Tundra Variant

Just as our favorite automaker is dedicated to creating innovative new Toyota models, so is Sloane Toyota of Glenside devoted to delivering all the latest model details. That's why we'd like to give you the run-down on a new vehicle sure to provide a whole lot of dirt-spitting fun. At the recent 2011 SEMA Show, Toyota uncovered the Ultimate Motocross Truck in the body of a 2012 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4X4.

Built to handle the demanding lifestyle of a motocross athlete, the tricked-out truck comes with a wide variety of utility features. To tackle even the toughest terrain, the modified Tundra is equipped with a Camburg Racing suspension lift, Fox Racing shocks, KMC 18 X 9-inch wheels and General 35 X 12.5 X 18 tires. Adding convenience to drive, designers added a suicide tailgate, gas pump and water pressure washer, a hidden ramp, an air compressor, a winch and a roof rack with the ability to turn into a viewing deck.

After making its debut at SEMA in early November, the Ultimate Motocross Truck began an event tour. Stops along its route include the St. Louis Auto Show, North American International Auto Show and the 2012 Supercross Series. If you can't make it to any of these events, be sure to catch a peek at the model when it makes a television appearance on the reality show "Inside West Coast Customs" on TLC and the Discovery Channel.

While we aren't all motocross superstars, everyone can appreciate the durability and utility found in every Tundra model. If you'd like to experience it for yourself, feel free to drop by Sloane Toyota of Glenside, 503 N. Easton Rd. Glenside, PA 19038 for a test drive.
